Well, lately I've been thinking about how innefective religion is in extreme situations. The way people are killing each other for the past couple of thousand of years (particularly) in the Middle East. Children of all creeds dying like dogs. Those who survive are bound to keep hating the sons of the enemy. They'll probably never know why except for the fact that the enemy killed their relatives and their own relatives have killed some of the enemy's relatives. Have you ever had a relative killed? I once met a man in a shanty town in Rio. He haerd shots in the dark one night. When he woke up the next morning a teenaged was dead on the ground. His brains blown out. Some pieces impressed upon his house's wall. He was forever nailed to that wall but sought ways to move away, to a more peaceful place. He feared one morning he would wake up to see his son's brains scattered on the pavement. Violence is unnacceptable.
I am new to this blog tool. Had read about it, found it interesting but no time to deal with it before. Now, it is done. Space requested and confered. Ideas to be conveyed soon.
